Research Seminar:- Gamma-ray Bursts with Unusual Origins
In this presentation, the speaker will delve into thier recent research on Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) that deviate from standard classifications or progenitor models. These GRBs encompass a unique event originating from a magnetar giant flare, a distinct short-duration GRB not arising from compact star merger, and a genuinely long-duration GRB resulting from compact binary star merger. The discovery of these exceptional phenomena indicates that their current comprehension of GRBs is incomplete, warranting further investigation into these extraordinary events to gain a comprehensive understanding of the diverse mechanisms behind GRBs.
