Testing gravity on all scales

Webinar:- Testing gravity on all scales

Recent years have seen great progress in probing gravitational physics on a vast range of scales, from the very largest cosmological scales to the microscopic ones associated with high energy particle physics. In this talk the speaker will focus on how we can use these different systems synoptically to learn more about dark energy. Specifically, he will discuss the interplay of dark energy constraints from the following systems: gravitational waves emitted by binary systems, the cosmic microwave background, large scale structure, and (theoretical) bounds on the behaviour of gravity on scales inaccessible to current experiments.

“Copernicus Webinar and Colloquium Series”: To promote scientific discussions during this pandemic, they are organizing an online seminar series, i.e. Copernicus Webinar Series, seeking the most outstanding speakers to introduce innovative ideas and important progress in the field of gravity and cosmology. This series is named after the famous Polish Astronomer, Nicolaus Copernicus, whose discovery eventually marked the dawn of modern science.
