“Science World: Exploring Space to Benefit Mankind” Education Programme- Competition
The Competition provides a chance for students to put what they have learned from the online lecture series into practice. Students are required to design an experiment in their own chosen science fields, making use of microgravity in the space station, to demonstrate how it can benefit mankind. Each school can nominate a team, comprising 1~2 teacher advisors and a maximum of 5 students. Team representatives are required to attend each online lecture.
The adjudication panel will shortlist ten finalists and invite the teams to make a 15-minute presentation about the scientific theories behind their proposals. The teams will have to bring along the prototype for explanation and demonstration.
