Chasing the Moon
The final episode shows the triumph of the first moon landing. Live coverage brought viewers from around the world into the experience. With only one chance to fire the assent engine to safely reach Apollo 11, tension built once more. To the intense relief of all involved, the engine successfully sped Aldrin and Armstrong safely back to the main craft. On July 24th, the crew splashed down in Pacific Ocean.
