Public Lecture: Gravitational Wave Astronomy with KAGRA
A completely new astronomy, gravitational wave astronomy, has just born. With gravitational waves, we would like to unveil the secrets of the Universe such as black holes and neutron stars. In this lecture, the speaker would like to discuss the gravitational wave detector, KAGRA, which will begin the operation within this year, and the science to be carried out by the global network of gravitational wave detectors.
