低溫電子學在射電天文系統中的應用


Seminar:- Cryogenic Electronics for Applications in Radio Astronomy Systems 
 
Sensitivity is one of the key specification of the receiver performance which is determined by the noise in the receiver output. As a first stage component in a receiver system, low noise amplifier (LNA) plays a critical role in determining the overall performance of the system. In order to improve the noise of the receiver system, cryogenic cooling of the receivers has been commonly adopted especially for radio astronomy applications. Hence, the techniques of operating electronics at cryogenic temperature have been studied to achieve the best performance. In this seminar, those techniques used in developing the cryogenic receiver systems will be introduced and discussed.
