IAS Program on Particle Theory:- Cosmological Signatures of New Particles
Despite the tremendous success of Standard Model(SM) of particle physics, several mysteries remain unsolved. For example, the nature of dark matter is not known. New particles which are not included in the SM may be one of the keys to solve the problem. In this talk, the speaker will discuss several new particles, including elko, symplectic fermions, etc. She will discuss their cosmological signatures, how they can be produced in the early universe and the possibility of them to become candidates for dark matter. These theories may be non-Hermitian, so the speaker will also introduce some interesting aspects of non-Hermitian theory.
