【特別通告】學會取消明日舉行的會員大會

致各會員：

鑑於近日社會及交通運輸狀況不穩定，為保障會員及義工的安全，委員會經慎重考慮後決定延期舉行第46屆週年會員大會。

有關考慮及安排如下：取消原定於11月17日（星期日）於童軍中心舉行的會員大會；現屆委員會將繼續留任直至選出新一屆委員；將留意社會運動發展並積極考慮舉行會員大會的日期及場地安排；包括研究網上會議的可行性；就本次會議未能於第46屆會期開始後90天內舉行，委員會希望會員明白實在是因為受社會上未明朗因素影響；有關違反會章規定，委員會建議加入議程讓會員通過並記錄在案；新的會議日期將於舉行前最少14天通知會員；已報名參加聚餐的會員可以保留名額至另行通知，亦可即時申請全數退款。

Due to the current social unrest and unstable transportation conditions, in considering the safety of members and volunteers, the Committee decided to postpone the 46th Annual General Meeting (AGM) after serious consideration.

The arrangements are as follows: Cancellation of the AGM on 17th Nov (Sun). The current committee will continue to carry on its duties until the new committee is elected.

The committee will keep checking the social movements, available date and feasible media for further arrangements including live broadcasting. As there is a violation of the regulation (AGM should be held within 90 days after the start of the session 31st Aug, 2019), a special agenda should be added to the members for adoption and record in the case. The new AGM date will be notified to the member at least 14 days prior to the meeting. Members who have signed up for the lunch can reserve the quota until further notice, or apply for a full refund immediately.
